We are New Valley Adult Day Health Care in the City of San Gabriel. We are seeking a dedicated and organized member for our Administrative Position to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and providing exceptional support to both staff and participants. Must have 10 years of experience in Administrative work. Experienced Registered nurse, Social Workers, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Registered Dietitian and Pharmacist welcomed to apply.

Job Responsibilities and Tasks:

Administrator must meet either of the following requirements:

(1) A baccalaureate degree in psychology, social work or a related human services field and a minimum of one year experience in the management of a human services delivery system, or
(2) Three years of experience in a human services delivery system including at least one year in a management or supervisory position and two years of experience or training in one of the following: (A) Care and supervision of clients in a licensed adult day program, or an adult day health care facility.

The administrator shall:

(1) Be at least 21 years of age.
(2) Know the requirements for providing the type of care and supervision needed by clients, including communication with clients.
(3) Provide for continuous supervision of clients.
(4) Supervise the operation of the day program.
(5) Communicate with the licensing agency as required by applicable laws and regulations.
(6) Comply with applicable laws and regulations.
(7) Maintain or supervise the maintenance of financial and other records.
(8) Direct the work of others, when applicable.
(9) Establish the policy, program and budget.
(10) Recruit, employ, train, and evaluate qualified day program staff, and terminate employment of staff.
(11) Acknowledge the receipt of the Department's correspondence, deficiency notices, or field reports when the Department has requested a response.
(12) Ensure the timely correction of all cited deficiencies.
(13) Adjust the program to accommodate the needs of all clients.
(14) Coordinate all activities and services.
(15) Provide initial orientation for all staff and ongoing educational and training programs for the direct care staff.
(16) Arrange for special provision for the care and supervision, including health, safety, and guidance, of clients who have special needs.(A) These provisions may include additional staff to supervise clients who wander, to maintain mechanical medical aids, and to monitor toileting schedules.(B) Other special needs may include safety and emergency information in large lettering or in braille and lights.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

A Master's degree from an accredited college in psychology, sociology, social work, human services, non-profit management or related degrees
A bachelor's degree may qualify with extensive experience
At least two years in a management or supervisory position and two years of experience or training in one of the following:
Care and supervision of clients in a licensed adult day program, or an adult day health care facility
Care and supervision of one or more of the categories of persons to be served by the day Program
Knowledge of California ADHC regulations, Medi-Cal requirements, and CDA/CDPH policies
Strong leadership, organizational, and financial management skills
A working knowledge of the non-profit community, government systems, political processes and current state and Federal labor laws
Experience in staff supervision, training, and performance management
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders

ADHC/CBAS ADMINISTRATOR MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

A Master's degree from an accredited college in psychology, sociology, social work, human services, non-profit management or related degrees. A bachelor's degree may qualify with extensive experience.
At least two years in a management or supervisory position and two years of experience or training in one of the following:
Care and supervision of clients in a licensed adult day program, or an adult day health care facility.
Knowledge of California ADHC regulations, Medi-Cal requirements, and CDA/CDPH policies. (Title 22)
Strong leadership, organizational, and financial management skills.
A working knowledge of the non-profit community, government systems, political processes and current state and Federal labor laws.
Experience in staff supervision, training, and performance management
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 per week
