Direct Counsel LLC has partnered with a prestigious law firm seeking a talented Litigation Legal Assistant to join their Los Angeles office. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic and supportive litigation team, where you will play an integral part in managing civil litigation processes. Responsibilities:

Format, proofread, and finalize pleadings, discovery documents, and correspondence to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Process and scan incoming mail, maintaining an efficient workflow.
Maintain professional interaction with clients, attorneys, office staff, opposing counsel, court reporters, and court personnel.
Open, maintain, and close case files according to firm procedures.
Schedule appointments and events using Microsoft Outlook, ensuring deadlines are met.
Serve and file pleadings with California State Courts and Federal Courts as required.
Serve discovery and other legal documents.
Coordinate travel arrangements for attorneys and prepare expense reimbursements.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of civil litigation experience.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Thorough knowledge of California Court and Federal Court filing/e-filing requirements.
Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and Adobe; familiarity with FileSite/iManage is a plus.
Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is between $70,000 and $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Eligibility for bonuses may apply based on performance and experience.
