Overview
We are seeking a senior detail-oriented and strategic Buyer to join our procurement team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the supply chain, ensuring that our organization has the necessary materials and products to meet operational demands. This position requires a strong understanding of supply chain management principles and the ability to negotiate contracts effectively. The Buyer will work closely with various departments to align purchasing strategies with business objectives.

Duties
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Manage supplier relationships, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of goods.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers, focusing on favorable terms and conditions.
- Utilize systems such as Oracle EBS and SAP for tracking inventory levels and managing procurement processes.
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to make informed buying decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and ensure alignment with production schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels using MRP systems.
- Conduct regular reviews of supplier performance and implement improvements as necessary.

Experience
- Proven experience in a purchasing or supply chain role is essential.
- Familiarity with supply chain management concepts and practices.
- Proficiency in using procurement software such as Oracle EBS or SAP is preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract management.
- Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions based on market trends.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers.
- A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: $66,600.00 - $78,000.00 per year
