Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Assistant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will support our accounting department by performing various clerical and administrative tasks, ensuring accurate financial records and timely processing of accounts. This role is essential in maintaining the integrity of our financial data and supporting the overall efficiency of our accounting operations.

Duties

Assist in managing accounts payable, ensuring timely payments to vendors and suppliers.
Perform double entry bookkeeping to maintain accurate financial records.
Process payroll management tasks, including data entry and verification of employee hours.
Utilize accounting software, such as Quickbooks, to track financial transactions and generate reports.
Conduct tax preparation activities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Maintain organized financial documents and files for easy retrieval and reference.

Skills

Strong financial acumen with a solid understanding of accounting principles.
Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Quickbooks or similar applications.
Experience with accounts payable processes and payroll management is preferred.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Ability to perform double entry bookkeeping accurately and efficiently.
Strong communication skills to liaise with vendors, clients, and team members.
Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance requirements is a plus.
