Busy Los Angeles Immigration Attorney is seeking a bilingual legal assistant to help with managing attorney’s calendar and assist with client communication and document gathering. The ideal candidate will be able to efficiently work independently as well as with others. Must know how to take initiative and have great attention to detail. No Experience needed. Willing to invest the time in training the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

· Managing attorney’s calendar

· Provide update in client’s case status

· Making necessary changes and edits to document

· Submit Court filings and communicate with court and clerks

· Translate documents to the Spanish language

· Collaborate with paralegals

· Receiving and returning clients calls with a strong customer service mindset

· Collection of documents from client

· Review documents with diligence and attention to detail

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software; spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.

Skills:

· Fluent in the Spanish language

· Strong communication and organizational skills

· Time management

· Good Researching skills

· Able to adjust to last minute changes

· Customer Service Experience preferred but not required.

Hours:

9:00 am – 6:00 pm.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour
