Key Responsibilities:

· Business Development: Identify, prospect, and generate new leads within target industries that require powder coating, e-coat, and fabrication services.

· Account Management: Maintain and grow existing customer relationships by understanding their needs, providing solutions, and ensuring satisfaction.

· Technical Sales: Collaborate with internal engineering, production, and estimating teams to develop customized proposals and solutions for clients.

· Market Research: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer demands to identify new revenue opportunities.

· Site Visits: Conduct regular visits to customer facilities to review projects, provide technical expertise, and ensure alignment on project requirements.

· Quoting & Proposals: Prepare accurate and timely quotes, proposals, and presentations, ensuring pricing and terms align with company objectives.

· Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (engineering, quality, and production) to ensure customer expectations are met.

· Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities, and sales.

Qualifications:

· Industry Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of proven sales experience in powder coating, e-coat, metal fabrication, or related industries.

· Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of coating processes, fabrication techniques, material types, and finishing requirements.

· Sales Acumen: Demonstrated success in consultative/technical sales, with a strong focus on customer service and relationship building.

· Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

· Self-Starter: Highly motivated, organized, and able to work independently to meet and exceed sales targets.

· Travel: Ability to travel as needed to visit clients, attend industry events, and participate in trade shows.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience selling to automotive, aerospace, or industrial OEMs.

· Existing network of contacts within relevant industries.

· Previous experience working in a shop environment offering custom coatings and fabrication solutions.
