Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior HVAC Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating systems. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read and interpret schematics. As a Senior HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair various HVAC systems including air conditioning, ammonia refrigeration, and heating units.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure proper functioning.
Troubleshoot issues related to heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems using mechanical knowledge and diagnostic tools.
Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and identify potential issues.
Collaborate with other technicians to complete complex installations or repairs efficiently.
Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used during maintenance tasks.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while performing all tasks.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns promptly and professionally.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an HVAC technician or similar role with a strong background in air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating systems.
Proficient in reading schematics and technical drawings related to HVAC systems.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose problems effectively.
Familiarity with plumbing systems as they relate to HVAC installations is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant certifications or licenses in HVAC technology are preferred.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
