Overview
As a Grocery Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring our store runs smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring that the store is clean and well-organized. Your contributions will directly impact the shopping experience of our customers, making it essential to have a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
- Stock shelves with produce and other grocery items, ensuring products are displayed attractively.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks for inventory management.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to maintain accurate stock levels and assist with inventory control.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, including aisles and storage areas.
- Process transactions at the cash register accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance overall store performance.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or grocery environments is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with produce handling, stocking procedures, and inventory control is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus but can be learned on the job.
- Forklift Required.
- Bilingual Needed.
- English/ Spanish or English/ Mandarin.
