Position Overview: The IMP (Insulated Metal Panels) Thermal Wall Foreman is responsible for overseeing the installation of insulated metal panel systems on commercial and industrial construction projects. This role involves supervising a team of installers, ensuring safety protocols are followed, maintaining project timelines, and delivering high-quality workmanship. The Foreman will coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution.
Responsibilities:
Project Supervision:
Lead and manage a team of installers to complete the installation of IMP thermal wall systems efficiently and accurately.
Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to ensure proper understanding and execution.
Monitor daily activities to ensure progress aligns with project schedules and deadlines.
Safety Management:
Enforce compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulations on-site.
Conduct safety meetings and toolbox talks to address potential risks and promote a culture of safety.
Ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe operation of tools and equipment.
Coordination and Communication:
Collaborate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to ensure smooth workflow and resolve conflicts.
Report progress, challenges, and resource needs to project managers regularly.
Maintain accurate records of daily activities, timecards, and materials used.
Material and Equipment Management:
Ensure the availability and proper handling of materials, tools, and equipment needed for installation.
Report any shortages, damages, or equipment malfunctions promptly.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in IMP thermal wall installation or a related field, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role (preferred).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications.
Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of the principles of cold storage construction, including freezer and cooler construction details, vapor barriers, installation of cold storage doors, and underfloor insulation. In-depth understanding of insulated metal panel systems, their installation techniques, and best practices.
Safety Certifications: OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred; familiarity with safety standards and regulations.
Physical Ability: Capability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working at heights. Must be able to work at heights and in confined spaces.
Equipment Skills: Previous experience operating equipment such as scissor lifts or boom lifts while loading and unloading panels is a plus.
Communication: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage teams and coordinate with stakeholders effectively.
Organization: Well-organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
