Leading non-profit medical group in Los Angeles is looking for a bilingual Patient Access Specialist to join their team.
As a Patient Access Specialist, you will manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls while providing outstanding customer service. You will handle patient registration, verify program and insurance eligibility, and schedule and confirm appointments using the electronic health record system. Additionally, you will update and maintain accurate patient information, assist with provider changes, and address other inquiries. This role also involves performing various administrative tasks to support the team and ensure efficient operations.
Pay Rate: $22.00 - $25.00/hr. DOE
Shift: Monday - Friday - 8:00AM - 5:00PM
City: Los Angeles, CA
Patient Service Representative Requirements:- Minimum 1 year experience as a Patient Access Rep in a medical or clinical setting
- Proven experience working in a medical call center environment, handling heavy inbound call volumes
- Bilingual: English/Spanish /Armenian/Korean/ Tagalog is required
- Proficiency in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software
- High School diploma is required
