A Landscape Foreman will be responsible for managing the installation of upgrades for commercial & residential clients. We offer full-time, year round employment. Pay rate is based on experience!
Minimum of 3 years relevant experience necessary.
Job requirements:
• Knowledge of blueprints
• Ability to lead others and manage crews
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Strong work ethic
• Confirms that onsite crew's are operating safely at all times
• Dig and back fill holes for plants, trees, and shrubs
• Perform handwork as necessary using a pick, shovel, rake, or other hand tools for extended periods of time
• Perform rough grading using a rake
• Clear and back fill of ditches/trenches for irrigation and drains
• Carry materials (i.e. soil, rocks, brick, plants, sod, mulch/bark chips)
• Apply fertilizer and planting tablets
• Set sod, sprinkler heads, non-sewage catch basins, and tree stakes
• Perform general clean up at the work site
• Properly connect irrigation and drainage pipes
• Be able to work in direct sunlight for extended periods of time
• Load/unload burlap/tarps with plant cuttings, job debris onto trailers/containers (up to 50 lbs.)
• Maintain tools and equipment to ensure safety
• Ability to bend, stoop and twist continuously throughout the day
• Be able to lift 40-75 lbs.
Language: Bilingual English and Spanish required
Working Conditions: Work is conducted outdoors, exposed to varying temperatures, weather conditions, and noise levels; exposure to dust, grease, oils, dust, fumes, and electrical currents.
