GENERAL PURPOSE
Demonstrate full proficiency in performing maintenance on facility structure, such as floors, lighting, walls, ceilings, outside roof, and grounds; and perform small construction projects, such as room additions. Work with a limited degree of supervision, with oversight focused on complex and/or new assignments. Act as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Control maintenance and repairs on all plant
- Completes all work orders in timely manner at the highest quality
- Directs workers engaged in painting and performing structural repairs for facility and equipment that would include, but not limited to:
- Light fixture or lighting repair or replacement
- Basic tile replacement and grouting
- Basic plumbing, fixture repair/replacement, drain cleaning
- Drywall repair and /or plastering
- Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production
- Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work
- Maintain plant industrial waste pH treatment
- Respond to requests for HVAC and related services at the plant level
- Provide inspections of Safety and Environmental systems and equipment
- Provide assistance, as directed, to Maintenance or other staff members
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or
- 3 to 5 years of building and grounds maintenance, construction, or related experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment

- Strong construction and mechanical
- Able to inspect facility, diagnose or recognize potential problems, and take appropriate corrective
