Right now, we’re in urgent need of fosters for some very special dogs who just need a safe place to land while they wait for their forever homes. Could that be you?
Why Foster?
🐾 You get to love and care for a dog without the long-term commitment.
🐾 You save TWO lives—the one you foster and the one who takes their place in rescue.
🐾 It’s rewarding, fulfilling, and fun!
What We Need From You:
✅ Age: 21+
✅ Home Environment: No small dogs, cats, or young kids. Most of our dogs are large (60-100 lbs), so you must be comfortable with big dogs.
✅ Commitment to Events: Be available to bring your foster dog to Petco in West Hollywood every other Saturday for adoption events and to pick up supplies.
✅ Vet and Meet & Greets: Be able to take the dog to vet appointments and meet potential adopters.
✅ Household Approval: Everyone in your home must agree to fostering.
✅ Time Commitment: Minimum four-week commitment preferred. Short-term fostering helps, but long-term fosters truly make the biggest impact!
URGENT: Dogs in Need of Fosters
🐶 Axel – Needs a foster by April 1st
A stunning 100 lb Lab/Aussie mix who loves other dogs! He’s shy with people at first and needs a strong, patient foster with training experience to help him build confidence. Once he trusts you, he’s playful and affectionate.
🐶 Samuel – Needs a foster by April 1st
A 5-6 year old Pitbull mix who has been working on his training. He’s reactive to people and dogs at first but improves with time and patience. He must be muzzled in public. We need a foster by April 1st to continue his rehabilitation.
🐶 Teddy – Needs a foster by February 22nd
A friendly, playful Husky mix who loves walks and needs an active foster. She does great with big dogs but not small dogs. Housetrained and in great health, she just needs a foster who can keep up with her energy!
🐶 Brownie – Needs a foster ASAP
A friendly and affectionate senior Lab/ German Shepherd mix who has mastered the art of being a good and gentle boy and friendly to everyone.
🐶Bruce –Needs a foster 3/12
Bruce is a chubby bundle of love. A cute English Bulldog with a big personality he is playful and loving. Can be reactive with other dogs he would be best in a home where he is the only center of attention. Loves his toys and being petted.
