Acai Joint is a health-conscious superfood business that specializes in handcrafted acai bowls and smoothies. Our mission is to bring delicious and nutritious meals to the community using only the freshest, highest-quality ingredients — while cultivating a welcoming and positive experience.
The position will entail the following:
- Greet and interact with customers in a friendly, welcoming manner by providing recommendations and ensuring a positive experience.
- Prepare and serve acai bowls and superfood smoothies.
- Maintain a clean and visually appealing food prep area, including counters, shelves, refrigerators, and topping stations.
- Operate and sanitize equipment to maintain health code compliance whileprioritizing safety and efficiency..
- Restock ingredients and inventories throughout the shift.
- Work collaboratively and communicatively with team members.
- Monitor product quality and freshness by regularly checking expiration dates, rotating inventories, and discarding spoiled or expired items
Additional qualities we seek in candidates:
- Previous experience in food service and customer service
