Key Air Conditioning Contractors, Inc., has an immediate opening in Santa Fe Springs, CA for an Accountant who ideally has construction experience. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree, with a Major in Accounting
- A minimum 2 years’ employment in the Accounting field
- Excellent customer service skills
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- English reading and writing fluency
Responsibilities will include:
- Generating invoices
- Following through on the collections of Accounts Receivable
- Occasionally assisting the Payroll Supervisor with in-house payrolls
- Performing bank account reconciliations
- Assisting in the preparation of month-end journal entries
- Preparing the following:
- Sales tax reports for monthly prepayments and quarterly reconciliations with the final payments
- Cashflow reports
- Monthly customer statements
- Monthly work-in-process reports
- Weekly cost tracking reports for the Company’s owners
- Analyzing General Ledger accounts
- Assisting the Company’s Service Manager with matters relative to the Service Department
- Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Controller, the Controller or Company owners.

All of our operations are managed from our Santa Fe Springs location, which includes an automated sheet metal fabrication facility capable of producing in excess of 1,000,000 (One Million) pounds of fabricated ductwork annually.
