Job Summary:
We are expanding our electrical contracting business into HVAC and seeking a Responsible Managing Employee (RME) with a valid C-20 HVAC license. In this role, you will allow the company to operate under your license and actively participate in HVAC service calls, estimating projects, and performing installations. You will be responsible for managing operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining the license.
Key Responsibilities:
- Licensing: Allow our company to use your valid C-20 HVAC license to perform HVAC services.
- Service Calls: Perform routine HVAC service calls, diagnose issues, and recommend solutions for repair and maintenance.
- Estimating: Estimate costs for HVAC installations, repairs, and services, providing detailed project proposals.
- Installations: Oversee and participate in HVAC installations, ensuring projects meet quality standards and are completed on time.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all state and local regulations, safety standards, and industry codes.
- Supervision: Directly manage HVAC technicians and provide hands-on leadership in the field.
- Permits and Inspections: Obtain necessary permits and coordinate inspections for HVAC projects.
- Project Management: Plan, schedule, and oversee HVAC projects from start to finish, maintaining client satisfaction and quality control.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid C-20 HVAC contractor license in California.
- Willingness to allow our company to operate under your license and ensure compliance with CSLB regulations.
- Minimum of 4 years of journeyman-level experience in HVAC installations, repairs, and maintenance.
- Strong skills in estimating, project management, and direct customer service.
- Experience in HVAC installations and service work is required.
- Ability to supervise and lead a team of HVAC technicians in the field.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $27.22 - $30.05 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
