Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Microblading Artist to join our team. As a Microblading Artist, you will provide professional microblading services, helping clients enhance their natural beauty by designing and creating perfect, semi-permanent eyebrows. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, creative, and dedicated to providing exceptional customer service in a hygienic and professional setting.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct client consultations to understand their desired results and explain the microblading process.
- Design eyebrow shapes customized to individual facial features and preferences.
- Perform microblading procedures using appropriate tools, pigments, and techniques while adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized workstation to ensure a safe environment.
- Provide clients with aftercare instructions and address any questions or concerns.
- Maintain accurate client records, including before-and-after photos and detailed procedure notes.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends, tools, and techniques in the microblading industry.
- Market microblading services and contribute to growing the client base through referrals and promotional activities.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Certification in microblading from a recognized training program.
- Valid state licensure or certification in permanent makeup or tattooing (if required by local regulations).
- Proven experience as a Microblading Artist with a strong portfolio of work.
- Excellent understanding of eyebrow symmetry, face shapes, and skin types.
- Strong attention to detail and artistic ability.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards, including sterilization and sanitation practices.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build trust and maintain a professional relationship with clients.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or as needed to accommodate client schedules.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional certifications in permanent makeup techniques (e.g., shading, ombre brows).
- Experience with social media marketing or building an online portfolio.
- Basic knowledge of skincare and cosmetic services.
Work Environment:
This role involves working in a spa, salon, or clinic setting. The Microblading Artist should be comfortable standing for extended periods and working closely with clients.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $28.93 - $33.28 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
