Exciting Part-Time Work Opportunity in Bookkeeping, Business Management and Development
Join the team of a practicing psychologist and UCLA clinical professor as a part-time Executive Assistant (8-12 hours weekly). Work closely and proactively with the founder and other team members to manage the office, oversee bookkeeping, organize digital files, educate the public and expand the social media presence and reach of the office, its projects, and its PSAs. Position offers some scheduling flexibility. Typical work hours range between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m in three to six-hour shifts.
If you only have Bookkeeping experience, a Bookkeeper-only position can be curated for you.
Specific aspects of the job (on the job training could be provided):
- Manage founder's workflow--business and personal; handle or delegate pending projects
- Continue to update the office with digitization of documents
- Organize office billing, client files, and assorted documents
- Bookkeeping: entering billing transactions in QuickBooks (some on-site learning allowed)
- Create and contribute to client and public education worksheets and social media posts
- Website maintenance, monitor blog content, upgrade website as appropriate
- Video editing for conference presentations (video editing skills preferred, but not required)
- Prepare and disseminate marketing materials to professional contacts through social media
- Communicate with vendors (e.g., doctors’ offices, insurance companies, universities to obtain publications, etc.)

Qualified candidates should submit a cover letter explaining why they would be a good fit for this position and the specific skills or experience they have that make them uniquely qualified. Starting salary range is approximately $35 hourly and will be commensurate with experience. A higher salary can be negotiated for applicants with bookkeeping experience.
