About
I am an aspiring court reporting stenography student currently at 180 WPM, working towards completing my schooling and then becoming certified by the State of California for court reporting work. I started out with medical transcription for three and a half years, and then changed my focus to court reporting due to the dwindling medical transcription profession. I have been working as a legal transcriptionist since January 2021 with multiple companies while learning and practicing my stenography skills. I have great attention to detail when it comes to listening to audio of depositions provided by digital reporters, writing the transcripts on my machine, and scoping my own transcripts. I also am a California Notary Public/Loan Signing Agent, although I haven't been able to pursue work in this area up to this point.
