We are a Beverly Hills-based Personal Injury Law Firm, and we are seeking a diligent and organized Account Payable Clerk for our Accounting Team. This position involves processing vendor invoices, monitoring payments, maintaining expense records, and supporting the firm’s financial operations. The role requires a detail-oriented professional who can manage the firm’s accounts payable processes with accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities Include:

Accounts Payable clerk duties will encompass the processing of all accounts payable transactions including bills, credit card charges and invoicing client bills, ensuring accuracy of each bill and proper classification.
Liaise with vendors to address billing inquiries, verification of information, discrepancies, and payment terms.
Maintain accurate client Job Costing.
Reconcile expense reports, ensure all expenses comply with firm policies, and address any discrepancies. Enter, update, and reconcile accounts payable data in accounting software, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
Assist with month-end closing by preparing journal entries and preparing reports as required.
Assist in Costs Savings.

Requirements and Qualifications:

(BA or BS) in Accounting.
1-2 Years’ experience in a similar role.
Experience with Legal Industry a Huge +
Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word/Excel and Macintosh OS)
QuickBooks Pro software experience.
Salesforce CRM knowledge is a plus to have.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Must be responsible and self-managed and able to work in a team environment as well as independently
Must have excellent follow-up and tracking skills
Must be detail orienteed
