We are a Beverly Hills-based Personal Injury Law Firm, and we are seeking a diligent and organized Account Payable Clerk for our Accounting Team. This position involves processing vendor invoices, monitoring payments, maintaining expense records, and supporting the firm’s financial operations. The role requires a detail-oriented professional who can manage the firm’s accounts payable processes with accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities Include:
- Accounts Payable clerk duties will encompass the processing of all accounts payable transactions including bills, credit card charges and invoicing client bills, ensuring accuracy of each bill and proper classification.
- Liaise with vendors to address billing inquiries, verification of information, discrepancies, and payment terms.
- Maintain accurate client Job Costing.
- Reconcile expense reports, ensure all expenses comply with firm policies, and address any discrepancies. Enter, update, and reconcile accounts payable data in accounting software, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Assist with month-end closing by preparing journal entries and preparing reports as required.
- Assist in Costs Savings.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- (BA or BS) in Accounting.
- 1-2 Years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience with Legal Industry a Huge +
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word/Excel and Macintosh OS)
- QuickBooks Pro software experience.
- Salesforce CRM knowledge is a plus to have.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Must be responsible and self-managed and able to work in a team environment as well as independently
- Must have excellent follow-up and tracking skills
- Must be detail orienteed
