Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Assistant to join our team. This position offers training for candidates without prior payroll experience. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing, maintaining compliance with regulations, and providing excellent support to employees.

Duties:

- Timely and accurate processing payroll for biweekly cycle.

- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee payroll records.

- Staying up-to-date with labor laws and tax regulations.

- Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local payroll.

- Responding to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns.

- Resolving payroll-related problems or discrepancies.

- Managing payroll system.

Skills:

- No prior experience required – training will be provided.

- Proficiency in payroll software such as ADP, Paychex, or similar systems is a plus.

- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive payroll information with discretion.

- Good communication skills for addressing employee inquiries regarding payroll.

- Basic understanding of tax regulations, payroll processes, and compensation structures.
