Duties

Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
Utilize effective phone etiquette to assist customers with inquiries and orders.
Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
Upsell products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales volume.
Maintain knowledge of store products, promotions, and policies to effectively assist customers.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly.
Assist in stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and maintaining store cleanliness.
Supervise junior staff members when necessary, fostering a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in sales or customer service is preferred, particularly in a grocery store setting.
Strong cash handling skills with basic math proficiency to ensure accurate transactions.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
A positive attitude with the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
