L.A. Girl / L.A. COLORS Cosmetics by Beauty 21 Cosmetics, Inc., a leading cosmetics company headquarters in Ontario, California is seeking a highly motivated Marketing Manager. The ideal candidate must have extensive knowledge of beauty and fashion industries, in tune with trends, brands, blogs, and cosmetics!
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading and executing the marketing strategies focusing on driving brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth.
The Marketing Manager will work closely with the Marketing Director and cross-functional teams, they will play a critical role in driving brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth through multi-channel marketing initiatives. This role requires a balance of creative vision, analytical skills, leadership abilities, and strategic insight to support the brands’ objectives both domestically and internationally.
Marketing Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and execute marketing strategies that align with business objectives.
- Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks.
- Create detailed marketing plans for digital, content, events, and traditional channels, setting specific objectives.
Product Development Collaboration:
- Work closely with R&D, sourcing, and operations to conceptualize new products through market research, competitive analysis, and trend identification.
- Lead the briefing process for new product launches, ensuring clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee the progress of product submissions until final approvals, ensuring quality standards and brand consistency.
Campaign Management:
- Plan, implement, and optimize marketing campaigns across multiple platforms (digital, print, social media, etc.).
- Monitor campaign performance, adjusting strategies based on key performance indicators (KPIs) and data analysis.
- Collaborate with sales, product, and operations teams to align marketing efforts with broader business strategies.
Brand & Product Presentation:
- Ensure cohesive product presentations and packaging executions that reflect the unique essence of each brand.
- Liaise with international teams to ensure global compliance for products and packaging.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Mentor and coach marketing team members, ensuring high performance and professional growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (creative, product, and sales) to develop compelling messaging and positioning.
- Build strong relationships with external partners, agencies, and vendors to enhance marketing efforts.
Market Research & Insights:
- Conduct product post-launch analyses for SKU rationalization and product assortment strategies.
- Present findings at internal sales meetings and external retailer presentations.
- Use insights from market research to inform product development, brand strategy, and customer engagement.
Digital Marketing:
- Oversee digital marketing strategies, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, and online advertising.
- Optimize website performance and content to increase engagement and conversions.
- Lead content-driven programs across social platforms to enhance brand visibility and consumer loyalty.
Product Lifecycle Management:
- Collaborate with IT to ensure integration and adoption of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Product Information Management (PIM) systems.
- Drive innovation in product development processes by leveraging technology and market insights.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing product education materials, ensuring accurate and compelling messaging for both internal and external partners.
- Partner with the international and innovation teams to deepen product knowledge and support successful global launches.

Knowledge, Skill, and Experience
Minimum Education (or substitute experience) required:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
Minimum Experience required:
- 5 + years of experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- 2 years working experience in digital marketing.
Skills Required:
- Proven success in developing and executing marketing strategies.
- Expertise in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, email, and social media.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with external partners.
- Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
- Data-driven decision-maker with strong analytical abilities.
- Skilled in project management with keen attention to detail.
- Creative problem-solver with strategic thinking abilities.
- Proficient in marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot).
- Able to multitask and deliver high-quality work on tight timelines.
- Passionate about social media platforms and beauty products.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable self-starter.
- Collaborative team player with excellent time-management skills.
- Experienced in content strategy, development, and managing creative processes.
- Ability to meet deadlines while effectively managing team priorities in fast-paced environments.
- Proficient in using analytics and metrics to drive content decisions.
- Advanced knowledge of content marketing and engagement strategies. Self-starter with an exceptional ability to follow through, lead and influence others.
- Knowledge of CRM (Dynamic 365) and marketing automation software (Hubspot, Marketo).
