Job Summary: Welder Level 3 will read blueprints, drawings, and take measurements to plan and layout procedures. As a successful candidate will be skilled with attention to detail and mechanical aptitude. You are responsible to accurately produce and operate machines, adjusting as required to troubleshoot and maintain quality and production requirements.
Responsibilities:
- MIG welding of different sheet metal fabrication parts
- Work from work order, samples, drawing, written and verbal instruction.
- Consistently monitor quality of product to maintain quality standards.
- Identify parts for inspection - as required (part of the overall quality control process).
- Update travelers and input as required per job.
- Be able to read blueprints
- Knowledge of measuring equipment (caliper and micrometer)
- TIG welding of aluminum and stainless-steel sheet metal fabrication parts
- Able to do complex welding projects - aluminum, stainless steel, steel
Skills:
- Welding experience in a manufacturing environment
- MIG welding experience
- Able to read and interpret blueprint and drawings
- Able to define, evaluate, and discuss quality workmanship related to welding
- Be able to read blueprints
- Strong communication skills
- TIG welding experience
- Certified Welder
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 5 year of welding experience in a manufacturing environment
- Understanding of production and manufacturing process
- Willing to work late, early hours, weekends, and overtime if necessary
