Position Summary
The Coordinator, Product Development Marketing reports directly to the AVP, Product Marketing and works in unison with the brand team, assisting with all brand initiatives. This role embodies the voice of the brand. The Coordinator, Product Development Marketing must have an in-depth understanding of the Physicians Formula brand and the Physicians Formula consumer and uses it to successfully execute retailer specific initiatives, consumer interactions, and all brand related tasks.
Essential Tasks, Duties, & Responsibilities

Maintain accurate and up-to-date marketing calendars and project status reports

Work with the Brand team to execute new product launches, sales materials, presentations as well as new programs

Perform important follow-up on a diversified group of projectsfrom creating bill of materials to studying the competition and recommending new product ideas

Assist with coordination of trade advertising, website content, brand updates, sales meeting, and trade shows

Interface with many departments including Creative, Sales and Planning
- Support with campaign development, management, and analysis

Communicate and document project status and strategic recommendations

Coordinate and collaborate with Design & Creative teams to gather necessary assets for marketing campaigns

Create and manage marketing campaigns as needed

Collect and analyze data to improve marketing ROI REPORTING/WORKING
- Conduct keyword research and use SEO to optimize content
- Identify customer needs and create engaging content around solutions

Work with internal teams to establish a consistent and unique voice and style

Writing, reviewing, editing, and updating content for company websites, blogs, marketing materials, and similar platforms

Assist in creating, proofing & managing all creative assets (image and copy)

Place product orders and ship packages as needed

Perform other duties as needed and directed by management.
Minimum Qualifications
Education & Experience

Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Management or Communications

Minimum of 2 years on-the-job experience in marketing or related field, with experience in the MASS Channel. (Beauty is a strong plus)

Background in cosmetics or consumer packaged goods industry a plus
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Strong interest in beauty; knowledge of current beauty trends, social media, and marketing tools

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Power Point/Word
- A positive can do and a go-getter attitude for a fast-paced environment

Ability to connect, build and maintain relationships, and stimulate discussion

Exceptional organizational skills; very detail oriented
- Ability to pay close attention to detail and ensure accuracy

A strong multi-tasker that is also collaborative
- Copywriting and proofreading skills are essential

Ability to accurately and effectively communicate with customers and staff in a professional and courteous manner

Strong skills in oral and written communication (English)
