Working Hours: 11:00pm- 7:30 am (OT as Needed)
Working Days: Monday -Friday (Saturday's as Needed)
Pay Rate: $27 to $31 DOEJob Duties: - Analyze equipment malfunctions and determine cause using mechanical, pneumatic and electrical skills
- Perform electrical troubleshooting of secondary plant distribution system (switch gear, breaker panels, wiring/busses, junction boxes, switches, outlets, etc.).
- Familiarization with local, state and national building codes including the NEC.
- Calibrate and adjust plant instrumentation.
- Perform minor instrument repairs.
- Familiarization with common preventative maintenance practices as well as the importance of the record keeping accuracy associated with it.
- Process work orders utilizing a computerized maintenance system.
- Active participation in a project lead role as required.
- Perform all duties of a Mechanic I.
- Participates in plant safety / housekeeping audits to ensure a safe work environment
Requirements:- This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 5+ years maintenance experience preferably in a manufacturing environment or a combination or work experience and education.
- Highly recommended the candidate hold a certification / license in one or more of the following areas: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, welding or general construction.
- Electrical experience a plus. Ability to make routine decisions and report / communicate malfunctions to management. Demonstrated ability to read and understand blue prints, wiring diagrams, etc.
