As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Commercial Real Estate Acquisition Associate & Lease Administrator to support our acquisitions team and lease administration operations.
Position Overview
The Acquisition Associate & Lease Administrator is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and closing industrial and office properties in select markets. This role oversees the acquisition process to ensure sound investment decisions and execution while also supporting asset management and financial reporting. Additionally, the position includes lease administration responsibilities to maintain compliance and efficiency in property management.
Key Responsibilities
Acquisition & Investment Analysis
Identify and evaluate potential acquisition opportunities through market research and financial analysis.
Underwrite deals, conduct due diligence, and support negotiation efforts.
Oversee the acquisition process from sourcing to closing, ensuring strategic and financial alignment.
Assist in asset management and financial reporting for properties under management.
Lease Administration & Portfolio Management
Draft, review, and manage lease agreements, amendments, and other related documents.
Maintain lease records, track key dates, and ensure compliance with lease terms.
Coordinate lease abstracting and ensure accurate data entry in Yardi or similar property management software.
Legal & Compliance Support
Assist with due diligence, including reviewing title reports, zoning regulations, and environmental assessments.
Prepare and process legal documents such as tenant estoppels and subordination agreements.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal company policies.
Financial & Reporting Responsibilities
Monitor rent schedules, escalations, and lease financial obligations.
Prepare reports on property performance, acquisition opportunities, and lease administration metrics.
Track and manage deadlines for legal filings, renewals, and contract negotiations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in commercial real estate acquisitions, lease administration, or a related role.
Strong understanding of commercial real estate transactions, lease structures, and financial analysis.
Experience in Yardi or similar property management and financial modeling software.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite.
