We are offering a paid internship opportunity for students or recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in architectural design, tenant improvements, and commercial real estate development.
Position Overview
The Architectural Intern will support design, drafting, and project coordination efforts for commercial property renovations and tenant improvements. This is a great opportunity to gain real-world experience in architectural planning, space design, and compliance regulations while working alongside experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in creating architectural drawings, site plans, and conceptual designs for property improvements.
Support the space planning process for tenant build-outs and lease agreements.
Ensure designs comply with building codes, zoning laws, and ADA regulations.
Work with property managers and vendors to coordinate project schedules and approvals.
Maintain project documentation and update records in Yardi or other project management software.
Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure project accuracy and adherence to design standards.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Architecture, Urban Design, or a related field.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Bilingual in Mandarin and English is a plus.
