About the Role
A leading retail company is looking for a Retail Merchandising Manager to drive product selection, optimize assortments, and strengthen vendor relationships. This role is perfect for a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, a keen eye for market trends, and experience in retail merchandising.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement merchandising strategies to maximize sales and profitability.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate pricing, and oversee product selection.
- Analyze market trends and customer preferences to ensure a competitive product assortment.
- Collaborate with buying, marketing, and inventory teams to align merchandising efforts.
- Oversee visual merchandising and in-store product placement to enhance customer experience.
- Monitor sales performance and inventory levels, making adjustments as needed.
- Lead and mentor a merchandising team, providing guidance and support.
- Assist in promotional planning and campaign execution to boost sales.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in retail merchandising or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of product sourcing, category management, and vendor negotiations.
- Experience with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to make strategic decisions.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to work cross-functionally.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
