Accounting Assistant

Busy, mid-size, talent agency seeks full-time Accounting Assistant to assist the Accounting

Department for our West Hollywood office. This is a full-time onsite position. This position

requires a motivated self-starter with excellent organizational skills and superior attention to

detail. Applicant must have a positive attitude, be a team player and have an interest in

accounting/finance. This position will work with the Accounting Coordinator and reports to the

COO. This is an ideal position for someone interested in learning the agency business from the

ground up and has room for advancement for the right person.

Primary responsibilities include:

Scan and log (in Airtable software) all client payments and agency commissions.
Help coordinators and agents by flagging any potential mistakes, errors, or mispayments for

coordinators to review and resolve if necessary.

Deposit checks electronically or manually as needed
Email clients about payments the agency sends them and help assistants to respond to any

questions clients send back.

Add new bookings to quickbooks and then monitor changes to those bookings in Airtable

software and update quickbooks as needed.

Send clients yearly reports when requested.
Most responsibilities pertain to accounts receivable and generally assisting accounting

department.

Qualifications/Requirements:

College degree and/ or minimum 1 year experience in a bookkeeping or accounting capacity.
Applicant must have exceptional oral and written communication skills
Ideal candidate is flexible, personable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Quickbooks, Apple-based Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), basic Google

systems (Mail, Sheets, Docs, Chat) and video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Hangouts, etc.)

Experience in Airtable is helpful.
