About Us:
Xavier’s Florist is a vibrant floral shop dedicated to creating stunning floral arrangements for all occasions. We pride ourselves on exceptional customer service, creativity, and attention to detail. We’re looking for a highly experienced Floral Designer who can also manage front cashier duties, assisting customers with orders while crafting high-quality floral arrangements.
Responsibilities:
- Design and create floral arrangements for daily orders, events, and special occasions.
- Assist customers in selecting and customizing floral designs while providing expert recommendations.
- Manage the front counter, take orders (in-person and over the phone), and process payments efficiently.
- Maintain floral inventory, restock supplies, and ensure the workspace is clean and organized.
- Provide excellent customer service in a calm and composed manner, ensuring efficiency without compromising quality.
- Assist with store displays and visual merchandising.
- Be willing to assist with general shop duties, even if not directly related to floral arrangements, to ensure smooth daily operations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in floral design (required).
- Ability to work efficiently and creatively under time constraints.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle a fast-paced environment professionally.
- Comfortable handling cash register transactions and processing payments.
- Ability to lift and carry floral arrangements and supplies as needed.
- Passion for flowers, design, and customer service!
- Demonstrate flexibility by assisting with various shop tasks as needed to support smooth daily operations.
- In-person interview required.
