POSITION SUMMARY
A successful Beauty Artist is self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and excels in sales and communication practices. Maintains credibility and is a reliable team member that demonstrates determination in their contribution to achieving company goals. The incumbent is comfortable in dealing with senior executives. The Beauty Artist is an empathic communicator, able to see things from another person’s point of view. Must be trained in The Art of Threading® by Ziba Beauty, know how to thread and shape eyebrows, understands the facial structure, skin condition, and able to recommend what brow shape would look best for different types of face shapes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• The Beauty Artist has the responsibility of building retail sales, relationship building/repeat clientele, event and training requirements.
• Esthetician must be experienced or be willing to be trained in The Art of Threading®
REQUIREMENTS
• Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer service skills.
• Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly and outgoing personality.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Must be a team player.
• Must be able to stand while administering treatments.
• Must be able to perform all esthetic treatments offered by Ziba Beauty.
• Must be physically able to operate all esthetic Equipment, which includes treatment beds.
• Estheticians have other duties beyond applying treatments. They often instruct their clients in the use of makeup and skincare techniques.
• Beauty Artists are required to have Open Availability (ability to work any shift on any given day including weekends and holidays) in order to accommodate customer service focused work and service schedule.
• Must have reliable transportation and open travel to other locations.
• Speak, Read and Write in Basic English and be able to communicate effectively with our staff and customers.
• Must uphold all personal appearance standards including ensuring that they are well Groomed, wear makeup (eye makeup, blush, lipstick, mascara, hair, foundation).
• Must wear Ziba Beauty approved attire (all black, lint-free, and wrinkle-free), including closed-toed shoes.
• Ability to understand and reach retail/service goals.
• Responsible for cleaning their own workstation and help the team as needed.
• Keeps to sanitation and personal hygiene standards.
• Must follow state board requirement and Ziba Beauty Expectations (see Threader Expectations).
• Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer service skills.

• Must be able to perform all threading services offered by Ziba Beauty.
Additional Requirements Based on Specialties
Beauty Artist
• Must be experienced or get trained in The Art of Threading® by Ziba Beauty Academy.
• Must have a valid California ID in their possession while working.
Mehndi Artists:
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must maintain a portfolio of Mehndi Art and present it at the time of the interview.
• Must have Bridal Henna experience and successful completion of Ziba Beauty Academy.
• Must be able to travel any studios 30-40 mile radius from home studio
Qualifications:
1 Year minimum experience in Threading or successful competition of Ziba Beauty Academy.

Must be able to stand for 8 hour shifts and Lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to stand while administering treatments.
