Job Summary
In conjunction with and reporting into the Brand Marketing Manager, the Coordinator, Brand Marketing will take ownership and accountability for coordinating and tracking product specifications, component artwork changes, retail promotions, retail merchandising, PR events and activations, social media assets, and influencer marketing for Black Radiance product lines.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist and serve as a liaison between Marketing, Sales, Creative, Merchandising, and Media
- Coordinate and execute all phases of Marketing assignments aligned with brand strategies to meet the needs of the business and key retailers
- Set-up, monitor, and track: promotions, retail merchandising, item set-up, packaging specifications, packaging updates, and social media campaigns
- Assist in analyzing consumer insights, market research, and industry trends
- Assist in maintaining department Marketing Support Calendar
- Execute Marketing administrative requests as assigned by the supervisor
- Perform other tasks as needed and directed by management
Minimum Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Beauty, Fashion, Product Marketing or related field preferred. FIDM graduate a plus
- 2 years of work experience in Marketing, Retail, Sales, Product Development, or Advertising
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proven ability to be resourceful, execute and meet deadlines
- Strong time management in establishing and shifting work priorities to meet the needs of the business
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Power Point/Word
- Strong proficiency with social media platforms (ex. Meta, Tik Tok, IG, Pinterest, X)
- Strong organization skills with ability to work on multiple projects with cross-functional partners
- Strong oral communication and creative writing skills
- Demonstrates ability to learn, receive constructive feedback, and maintain professional demeanor
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Demonstrates basic understanding of consumer-packaged goods, retail, and product development processes
