Overview:
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in HVAC systems, equipment repair, and maintenance. If you are passionate about working in the field of HVAC and possess strong technical skills, we encourage you to apply.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities:

Perform air balance with velometer or hood and recognize when and what problems exist from the test

Layout, design and install low voltage wiring

Compile a complete materials list from blueprints
-
Verify and coordinate HVAC building code compliance
-
Communicate clearly, the ideas and explanations of problems to customers and coworkers
-
Train, instruct and oversee other technicians
-
Present training seminars and classes for in-house meetings
-
Troubleshooting equipment, make repair and replace decisions
-
Other duties as assigned

Acquire preventative maintenance agreements
-
Responsible for follow-up process on each work order
-
Converse with facilities engineers, building and homeowners, and general contractors
-
Maintain professional appearance and attitude at all times
-
Rotate on-call status for emergency service
-
Run after-hours calls as required

Requirements:
Technical Skills:

Perform routing preventative maintenance on any size or type HVAC system
-
Read pump curves and calculate GPM
-
Read fan curves and calculate CFM
Requirements:

Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints.

Meet all qualifications for Service Technician 4
-
Be familiar with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques.

Experience making repair and replace decisions.
-
Be familiar with a wide range of control systems.
-
Advanced customer service skills.
-
Accept responsibility and leadership roles.
-
Knowledge of basic sheet metal practices.
-
Universal EPA Certification
-
Knowledge of air balancing principles and techniques.
-
Daiken experience is a strong plus, but not required.
