Freelance Social Media Content Creator (Beauty)
ABOUT THE ROLE: Are you a beauty-loving creative who’s always on top of the latest social media trends? We’re looking for a freelance digital content creator who can turn fresh ideas into scroll-stopping visuals and videos—especially in the beauty and nail space. If you’ve got a passion for aesthetics, a knack for telling brand stories, and the editing skills to make content shine, we’d love to collaborate with you on a project-by-project basis.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Concept and collaborate: Work closely with our Social Media Managers to brainstorm new content ideas. Think IG posts, short-form videos, animated GIF’s and beyond.
- Create On-Brand Content: Shoot, edit, and refine eye-catching visuals and videos that align with our brand’s look and feel.
- Experiment & Innovate: Utilize the latest editing techniques, tools, and trends.
- Drive Engagement: Leverage insights from the Social Media Manager to understand what resonates, then apply those learnings to keep our audience engaged and excited.
- Adapt & Evolve: Be ready to pivot, try new formats, and continually refine content approach as trends emerge.
WHAT YOU BRING:
- Social & Beauty Experience: 3+ years creating and editing social media content for beauty brands. Experience in the nail industry is a plus.
- Creative Suite Mastery: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and strong video editing skills are essential.
- Detail-Oriented Eye: A commitment to quality with a strong sense of aesthetics and on-brand storytelling.
- Self-Direction: Comfortable working independently, managing your own workflow, and delivering high-quality content on time.
- Analytical Mindset: Willingness to understand performance metrics and use data insights to shape future content.
