Mission Aire is currently looking for a seasoned journeyman/journeywoman mechanic with strong diagnosis skills on electrical, mechanical and ventilation systems. Can implement repairs on small to large tonnage systems in an expedient method. Excellent written and verbal skills. Clean DMV. Excellent benefits and pay for the right individual. Will provide truck, uniforms, medical benefits.

Lead Job Qualification: HVAC Mechanic / Technician
- 10+ years experience Commercial & Light Commercial Equipment Repair
- Commercial Chiller Trouble Shooting
- Hydronics
- Boilers
- RTU Equipment
- Water Source Heat Pumps
- Large Commercial Package Unit's
- Maintain and repair Light-Commercial and Commercial Equipment and other refrigeration and air conditioning systems
- General wiring of Unit controls and wiring systems
- Ability to consult on customer complaints and provide solutions that are beneficial for both the customer and the Company.
- Track and report all equipment failures to management for resolution
- Perform service and installation of commercial HVAC systems
- Perform service on Cooling water towers
- Maintain refrigerant and equipment records
- Perform electrical system checks and use a volt/ohm meter
- Fabricate and Install fixtures as assigned
- Monitor Testing as assigned
- Must have all hand tools needed to complete projects in a timely manner
- EPA Universal Certification
REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship (present and future) and able to pass a drug test and DMV and background check.
- HS Diploma, Vocational or Technical College degree in Refrigeration Systems preferred.
- EPA Universal License required
- Minimum of 10+ year's experience in the HVAC field
- Ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of environmental testing, vacuum pumps, heaters, mechanical refrigeration, and mechanical systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to adapt a dynamic work environment
- Ability to read electrical and refrigeration schematics
- Ability to use gauge manifolds
- Ability to use a volt/ohm meter
- Valid Driver’s License required
