We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Cannabis Budtender to join our team at The Cake House. As a Budtender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while assisting clients in selecting the right cannabis products for their needs. Your expertise in product knowledge and retail sales will help create a welcoming environment for our customers, ensuring they have a positive experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide them with personalized assistance in selecting cannabis products.
- Utilize the POS system to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about various strains, products, and their effects.
- Maintain an organized and well-stocked display of products, ensuring shelves are replenished as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance sales strategies and improve customer satisfaction.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and offering recommendations based on individual preferences.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock counts and product rotation.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and state regulations related to cannabis sales.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred; experience in a grocery store setting is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as this can enhance customer interactions.
- A passion for cannabis culture and knowledge of various strains and products is highly desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and comply with all state regulations regarding cannabis sales.
