Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior HVAC Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating systems. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read and interpret schematics. As a Senior HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair various HVAC systems including air conditioning, ammonia refrigeration, and heating units.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Troubleshoot issues related to heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems using mechanical knowledge and diagnostic tools.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and identify potential issues.
- Collaborate with other technicians to complete complex installations or repairs efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used during maintenance tasks.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while performing all tasks.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HVAC technician or similar role with a strong background in air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating systems.
- Proficient in reading schematics and technical drawings related to HVAC systems.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose problems effectively.
- Familiarity with plumbing systems as they relate to HVAC installations is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications or licenses in HVAC technology are preferred.
