Beauty 21 Cosmetics, Inc., a leading cosmetic manufacturer- brands of L.A. GIRL and L.A. COLORS Cosmetics, located in Ontario, California, is seeking a highly motivated Account Manager – Chain Store Sales. The ideal candidate must have good project management skills, the ability to multi-task, excellent relationship building qualities.
Job Summary:
· The Account Manager – Chain Sales will represent the organization by interacting with new and established customers and working in tandem with leadership developing new prospects to sell and grow current and new distribution within the national/regional chain stores.
Responsibilities & Duties
· Responsible for maintaining and expanding our business relationship with multiple national/regional retailers.
· Interact and consult with clients to understand business needs and coordinate the resources needed to service projects and build strategic operational plans.
· Manage expectations of client and project team regarding scope of work and responsibilities.
- Work with customers to determine their product, inventory and delivery needs.
- Review business results with customers.
· Uncover and understand customer’s strategic priorities, buying motives, end user needs, customer preferences, in office processes, and business operations across segments with the intent of expanding existing business and securing new business.
· Develop and execute plans to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue opportunities; collaborate with our retailer’s team to align strategies and drive sales growth.
· Manage internal and competitive pricing list for all product categories as part of a master product catalog, update with any new SKUs and or discontinued SKUs.
· Analyze sales data/Nielsen/IRI reports to maximize sales potential.
· Stay updated on industry trends, new product launches, and emerging technologies to effectively communicate the value of our brands and products.
· Help develop and manage account forecasts, budgets, and sales projections.
· Monitor and analyze sales performance, inventory levels, and promotional activities to identify areas for improvement.
· Provide regular updates to the management team, highlighting sales achievements, challenges, and strategic recommendations.
· Potential for additional ad-hoc Sales team requests.
· Be responsible for learning the organization's products, services, and policies in preparation for selling.
· Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Minimum Education required:
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing or related field.
Minimum Experience required:
· At least 4 plus years of experience account management or sales roles within the beauty industry.
· Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
· In-depth knowledge of the beauty industry, including trends, competitors, and consumer preferences.
· Experience with selling national/regional chain stores is a plus.
· Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal communication skills.
· Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
· Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and professional service to customers.
· Ability to effectively present information.
· Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues.
Skills Required:
· Excellent interpersonal communication, competitive selling technique, business acumen, organizational skills, managing complexity, written and oral communication skills.
· Thorough knowledge and understanding of sales applications and principles.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM software.

· Proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritize.
· Ability to handle multiple projects, items, tasks, and people within a short amount of time and communicate up and out.

· Up to 30% travel.

Hours: Full Time position, Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm, On-Site (In person, No work from home or Hybrid available).
