Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures. Must be responsible, team player, and well organized.
Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on job requirements.
Coordinate the flow of the work by using the appropriate machinery.
Able to use all the sheet metal equipment such as break, sheer, iron workers, drill press, and lathes machines.
Be able to make fixtures for the job. And keep the equipment clean and ready for the next project.
Check the fabrication station to ensure quality control of the product being fabricated. Be there to assist in all production-related questions.
