Job description
CPA Business Management firm based in the Burbank Media District area currently expanding our business management and bookkeeping services practice to meet the growing needs of our clients. We are looking for a full-time bookkeeper staff accountant to work with our Business Management team and clients to provide general accounting, bookkeeping and tax services.
Responsibilities
- Record cash receipts and disbursements
- Record purchases and sales transactions
- Process and record payroll transactions
- Bill payment, account reconciliations
- Perform bank reconciliations, month-end closing
- General ledger accounting, financial statement preparation
- Sales tax and payroll tax return preparation
- Other accounting and bookkeeping duties
Desired Skills and Experience
1-5 years of related experience; experience in public accounting
Bachelors degree in accounting preferred
Proficient in QuickBooks desktop and online
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience in Agilink a plus
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to multi-task and work with a diverse clientele
Ability to work additional hours as needed
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
