Position Summary:
The Accounts Receivable Admin reports directly to the Accounts Receivable Manager. The AR Admin is responsible for various functions within the Collections and Cash Application teams. Functions include reporting, customer account reconciliations and outbound collection efforts.
Job Description
Essential Job Functions:

Assist in daily and monthly cash and customer account reconciliation for discrepancies in invoices and/or payments and make recommended solutions

Handle customer inquiries regarding questions on invoices

Resolve customer issues, including educating customers on billing and payment options

Support department process improvement through on-going evaluation of processes, procedures and controls to maximize productivity and minimize errors

Support monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements

Monitor and manage bankruptcies and account reactivations
-
Monitor and manage customer refunds and/or returned payments

Support demand letter campaigns on customer accounts

Support collection efforts on delinquent balances from customers, by direct contact with the customers via telephone and or e-mail

Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
-
1 - 3 years’ experience in related field or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

High School Diploma or G.E.D
-
Strong communication skills

Proficient with Microsoft Suite

Great organization and communication skills

Demonstrated ability in Problem Solving, Priority Setting, and Planning

Ability to interact and communicate with people over the telephone and in person regarding complex issues

Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates/Bachelor's Degree.

Waste Industry Experience.

Bilingual (English & Spanish).
Hourly Wage: $24.67 - $34.38/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
