About the Role & Responsibilities:
As an HVAC Service Technician you will play a crucial role in our operations, ensuring the installation, maintenance and repair of HVAC systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair all types of heating and cooling units, up to 100-Tons, including water source, gas pack, heat pump, ductless, VRF, controls, evap. Coolers, refrigeration/low temp, hot side kitchen equipment, rack systems, C-Store Equipment, etc.
- Perform welding and electrical work as needed.
- Use a phone app-based field management system to document and track job progress.
- Cover a rotating weekend on-call schedule.
- Ensure trade-specific tools are readily available for use.
Requirements:
- Proficient knowledge of HVAC systems including water source heat pumps, gas/electric heat pumps, chillers/hot water boilers and hydronic systems.
- A minimum 3-5 years of experience.
- Strong trouble shooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Valid Drivers License and clean driving record.
- Participate on an On Call Schedule
