A Century City law firm is seeking a dedicated family law legal assistant with at least 1 year of exposure to family law, preferably with direct experience. This on-site role requires a reliable team player with excellent organizational skills to help manage cases and support attorneys, including one who needs strong organizational assistance. The family law legal assistant will handle scheduling, document preparation, client communications, and general administrative tasks. This position offers a dynamic environment for a detail-oriented professional looking to grow in family law.
Family Law Legal Assistant Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and legal assistance to two attorneys
- Calendar management, including court deadlines and attorney schedules
- Arrange court reporters and videographers for depositions and hearings
- Draft and proofread legal documents
- Prepare legal forms and handle state e-filing processes
- Support a busy office preparing for trial
