Responsibilities and essential job include, but are not limited to the following:
1. Respond to all customer’s inquiries by either email, telephone or any other communication required
2. Verifies merchandise received/shipped by matching bills of lading; reconciling quantities/weights; noting discrepancies.
3. Keeps customers informed by forwarding notices, shipment date and method, and current status; answering questions.
4. Freight forwarding functions such as order entry, updating, coordinate & expedite requests, time-specific pickups and deliveries and other special requests, etc.
5. Filings
6. Coordinate with broker/trucking company to get a decent freight rate and knows who provide good service.
6. Scanning
7. Provide support to Management/Supervisor
8. Update weights in the system
9. Print receiving tickets for dock
10. Update the “No Show” report and notify the parties involved.
11. AR knowledge is a plus
12. Chinese Speaking is a PLUS!
