Position Overview: The Inventory and Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for managing the flow of goods and materials throughout our supply chain. This role involves overseeing inventory levels, coordinating shipments, and ensuring timely delivery of products while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. Proficiency in QuickBooks, particularly with quotes, sales orders, invoicing, and accounts payable, is essential. Experience in construction supply or flooring is a plus. Strong communication skills in English are required, with Spanish as an additional benefit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor stock levels and perform regular inventory audits.
- Analyze inventory trends and provide forecasts to support purchasing decisions.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and adjustments.
- Logistics Coordination:
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with carriers and suppliers.
- Schedule and track deliveries to ensure timely arrival and distribution.
- Optimize logistics processes to reduce costs and improve service levels.
- Quote and Invoicing Management:
- Prepare quotes for customer orders and ensure accuracy.
- Manage sales orders and invoicing processes using QuickBooks.
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Data entry of some Accounts Payable functions.
- Generate reports related to inventory and logistics activities.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Generate reports on inventory levels, shipment status, and supply chain performance.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with purchasing, sales, and warehouse teams to align inventory levels with demand.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and logistics partners to resolve issues.

- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies regarding inventory and logistics operations.
- Promote a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (1+ years) in inventory management and logistics.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks 1+ years, particularly in managing quotes, sales orders, invoicing, and accounts payable.
· Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Experience in construction supply or flooring is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English; Spanish is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What We Offer:
- $20-$22 per hour
