Our company relies on our accounting team to drive business forward. Our accounts receivable department keeps that system running smoothly by managing cash influx and collecting payment from clients. We’re searching for a skilled person who can adapt easily to a fast pace work environment to join our accounts receivable team to help process, track, and record payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. The accounts receivable specialist will have both a day-to-day and ongoing impact on financial transactions, keeping us on track, on time, and on good terms with our valued partners.
Accounts Receivable Clerk Job Responsibilities:
- Invoicing: Generating and sending invoices to clients
- Collecting payments: Tracking payments and ensuring timely collection
- Reconciling discrepancies: Resolving billing disputes and discrepancies between accounts and records
- Maintaining customer relationships: Managing customer accounts
- Cash flow management: Using aging reports to manage cash flow
Accounts Receivable Clerk Qualifications and Skills
- A high degree of accuracy
- Great attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong communication/writing skills
- Ability to calculate and manage accounting figures
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Comfort working with budgets, payroll, and revenue
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 1+ years experience in a related role
Salary:
$25-30/Hour (DOE)
No remote work
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to Relocate:
- Los Angeles, CA 90049: Relocate before starting work (Required)
